Authors kit


The submission of a scientific paper shall be a draft full-length paper in two-column format, 4-6 pages, in A4 pdf format. The final paper format templates are here:

Acrobat PDF setting files that will allow you to automatically set Adobe Distiller to meet the IEEE PDF requirements.

The final camera-ready MUST pass the conformity checking by the IEEE PDF Xpress to comply with the IEEE PDF requirements.

Check your final paper at IEEE PDF eXpress: To verify that your manuscript meets the IEEE specifications, register to the IEEE PDF eXpress service and upload your paper before submitting it to the conference web site.

Enter  ICLGNSS13x to the 'Conference ID' field. Click 'Create New Title', type the title of your paper into the 'Enter Title Info' text box and click 'Submit PDF for Checking' or ' Submit Source Files for Conversion'. Browse the file and click 'Upload File'. You will receive a confirmation email of the successful upload. After the file has been processed, you will receive the results of the compatibility check, and, if the manuscript meets the IEEE specifications, a new version of the document.

Submit this file to the conference submission page. If the paper does not pass the check, you will receive a report about your document. By logging into the IEEE PDF eXpress web site, you can see the found errors and suggested corrections in great detail. Revise the document and check again with IEEE PDF eXpress. Iterate if necessary.

Fill in the IEEE Copyright Transfer Form that can be downloaded here. The registration form signed and scanned has to be sent to Bring the original signed form with you at the conference.

Register to the conference through the registration page. In order to present a paper in ICL-GNSS, at least one author must register before May 15, 2013 as a paying delegate (IEEE or non-IEEE) to have your paper included in the final programme, proceedings and IEEE Xplore.

One registration fee covers at maximum, two papers from the same author.

As an IEEE policy, the papers by no-show authors will not be included in the IEEE Xplore.

Paper preparation

Poster and presentations preparation

Please meet the chairperson before your session starts. The chairperson may require some information for your introduction. Prepare a short bio and bring it with you.

Oral presentations slots are 25 minutes long in total:

  1. Oral presenters are asked for planning a 20 min. presentation of their paper in English language. Additional 5 min. are scheduled for introduction, discussion, questions and changeover.

Poster presentations:

  1. During the Introduction, poster presenters are asked to give a 2 min. plenary introduction to their paper without any presentation material in English language.

  2. Poster paper material must fit in a space of DIN A0 (84cm wide and 119 cm high). The poster session area will be set up with posterboards that are this size. Fixings to attach the papers will be available.

  3. Please ensure that your posters are readable at a distance of at least 2 meters.

  4. Posters must be up before the start of the poster session and an author must be present during the entire session.

  5. Poster authors are asked to be ready to give an oral presentation using slides, in case of last-minute cancellations of other presentations scheduled in the program .
